Lawfare has been used for many years by the DOJ and its client the IRS to fraudulently convict and extort money from Americans. They have successfully fooled people into believing their labor is taxable and judges prohibit jury’s from being presented with the actual law that would exonerate the victims

When all is said and done, with such attitudes and behaviors, all that will be left is the left.

Hoping you can get close to the new White House. We need to fix these things after applying them. Actions meet consequences.

I guess when lawfare is applied under the Rump DOJ to all the former members of the existing regime, we'll hear this argument amplified by the usual voices, and then it will be a good time to look at changing the system. Of course, the wheels of justice turn slowly as we've learned.

Comey was 2016 not 2020.

Also preaching to the choir Amen -- any cases you can give us to show how a respected court or judge would reconcile those 3 points in practice?

As to your second question, I hope to write a piece about that soon, as that very principle will become important. In the short and medium term, though, prosecutions must commence. I'll have a piece coming out about that shortly.

“ prosecutions must commence “, Good. All during your essay I was wondering if you were going to conclude with something along the lines, Therefore we must not stoop to their level, or some other more eloquent way of saying do it in the sfo position.

Until the “ loyal opposition “ pays a price for their shredding of “ our values “ they will continue to fearlessly fight for “ their democracy “.

Here’s another idea, “ ask “ for the resignation of every attorney at DOJ, nationwide. If they want, let them re-apply for their old job or perhaps a promotion. Each one could write about how well they would work towards a new set of priorities, even give recommendations of who they “ enjoyed “ working with previously. As well as naming those they “ dis-agreed “ with. Lawfare … hmmm.

thanks -- we love the immediate access we get to smart people like you willing to spend the time and share, and hope it grows to include authors/news across all the issues we need explored (ie alternative to the mass and even local media that is of no value and actually is simply an agent for the left/progressive view) -- look forward to your articles, a recent discovery, thank you.

Well said, but you left out an important element. In the current system, prosecutors can bring charges without fear of retribution or consequences for failure; There needs to be CONSEQUENCES for applying lawfare, something akin to the concept of the duel. If you persecute someone by lawfare, you become liable for damages and/or conviction of the same crime. That is why free civilizations still have laws on the books defining consequences for robbery, rape, murder and other crimes - to deter that behavior. If there were real, defined consequences for applying lawfare, much of this crap would stop.

As is typical of the left's modus operandi, watch what they do, not what they say.
